Dancing

Here Katie and Ella are dancing to the music . I am afraid Katie may have my sense of rhythm ( poor kid), but at least she knows how to have a good time.

Back to Great Adventure

We went to Great Adventure on Sunday - Katie and her friend Ella , had a great time. It was Ella's first time but she jumped on all the rides with Katie . This is them on the stage coach. Below they are climbing on the big rode ladders - they were almost too fast to keep up with.

Great Adventure

Well Nana came back in August and we took another trip to Great Adventure - and boy was she adventurous. She tried every ride - the faster the better. And she wanted to do it all herself. Her she is taking a spin in the boats. All my mom and I could think about was a time when we were kids and my mother had to continuously yell at my brother to " keep your hands out of the water" - thankfully she was good.
Next she climbed up this huge net tower. She did great until she reached the top level and her foot fell between the nets and her shoe fell out. We managed to get her out without any major problems and retrieve her shoe but she was a little upset.

Next it was off to the airplanes then the roller coaster. She sat in the cart for the coaster, buckled up then raised her hands before the ride even started. She kept them up the whole time. Even went on for a second trip. She liked how fast it went ( don't think I could of handle a third time around).

The we caught the Bugs Bunny talent show - she had a good time dancing and singing. On the way out she wanted to play dress up. Didn't think she really meant it, but she did. She is just too cute.

It was a long day - lots of fun and adventures.

Happy Bday Aunt Pat

Mom came up for her sisters Birthday - it was great to get people together. Katie was enjoying the cake (although all she really did was lick the icing ).

Katie is enjoying a warm summer day with a cookie. She thought the sun was too hot so she wanted her umbrella

Play date

Sunday we went to visit Ella. Katie always has fun there - she loves the trampoline. She's a jumper. Both Katie and Ella enjoy jumping. They have a lot of giggles.

They played a little in the sand box - but Katie didn't stay too long - she was back on the trampoline after about five minutes in the sand box. After playing and jumping it was time to cool down in the pool. Spray bottles - even better.

Katie took the wheel as the two went for a spin around the yard.

Popcorn park zoo

Aunt Cindy came down to visit on Saturday. They both went to My Gym then to the mall for some shopping and lunch. Afterwards the three of us went to feed the animals at the popcorn park zoo. Katie was really good with the deer and the donkeys. Aunt Cindy did her hair - pretty colorful extensions.
